material & diagram of modern replacement for packing of struts on Great Lakes 2T-1..;  or Ryan STA & STAR-5; & PT21-22 the packin gland is Parker Hanifin "Poly B" 420818701437-312B. 312 is the size & B the chemical compound its made of. the "O" rings are 1 3/8 ID MS28775-324. I used Triad tech because the had a few in stock & got a "deep discount",@$17. but shop for prices, best to order quantity & share!was quoted @$70.00 apiece by Shop in Cahokia IL.

  I was just thinking I would be needing to get the parts and info to do my struts a couple days ago. Very timely.
If anyone is going to do a bulk buy I would be in.

    You are correct...I did not think I could afford to finish the one I
    got from Archie.
    I kicked myself for these years for selling it...but now have a new project.
    Fuselage is welded up. Dreams can come true I hope!

      me too, I need 12 more Poly "B"'s & 36 " O" rings. sooooo I guess get me your quantities(3142770753. or gtg15751@gmail.com). some one else try in your local area or none TRIAD & lets compare prices. "O" ring in calif may be cheapest for "O" rings
