I just ran into another problem,  I had a whole hide left over from
recovering my C-182 interior. I'm having the cushions covered in the
    same Leather.

I had the upholstery shop sew me 7 foot strips of leather to wrap
around the edge of the cockpit. This is how it's coming out.

Shop says he will have to sew the leather to fit and make the
inside turns. I thought leather stretched.

        Yale-
The only way I made it work was to take the old leather to the upholstery shop and had them cut me a piece of leather in the same shape. Then I made the holes in it as I went around. I also built a jig in the shape of the fuselage and stretched and threaded it in my living room over about 3 nights. Just the way I did it.
